# PB Tech price match: how to use it, and how to pay less

Not yet. PB Tech (pbtech.co.nz) sells computers, components, phones, gaming. It does not accept offers yet. Register the price you would pay and be told if that changes.

## Does PB Tech accept offers?

Not yet. PB Tech does not currently offer a formal way to make an offer online. You can register the price you would pay on this page, and you will be notified if that changes.

## Can you negotiate with PB Tech?

There is no formal channel today. In store, a discount sometimes depends on the salesperson and the day, and online there is no built-in way to make PB Tech an offer. Registering the price you would pay here is currently the only structured way to express one.

## Does PB Tech price match?

Yes. PB Tech will only consider a price match for a product identical to the model it has in stock. The product must be brand new, physically in stock (not drop shipped from a distributor) and located in New Zealand. All requests are at PB Tech's discretion, and PB Tech reserves the right to decline any request. Shoppers submit a price match request through the online form on the price match request help page, giving their email, name, contact number, the PB product, the price to match or beat, and where they saw that price. The page does not state a time limit for claiming or whether a claim must be made before or after purchase. Checked against PB Tech's published policy on 13 October 2026. Price matching gets you a competitor's public price; an offer is different — it is your private price, which can go where public prices don't.

## When does PB Tech have sales?

PB Tech runs public promotions regularly, so timing a purchase around sale periods can pay. The trade-off: public sale prices are visible to everyone, apply only to what's on sale, and end when the sale ends.

## How do I get a discount at PB Tech?

Price matching is the surest route today: find the identical item advertised for less and ask PB Tech to match it. Watch for their public promotions. And register the price you would pay on this page — if PB Tech starts accepting offers, you'll be first to know, with your offer already queued.
