- The terms

- What is excluded
- Excluded are misprinted ad prices, clearance, closeout and going-out-of-business prices, Buy One Get One Free, timed events, other special promotions, rebates, coupons, prices that require a club membership, limited quantity offers, and items sold by third parties on Amazon or Walmart. Price matching is applied before sales tax.
- How to claim it
- In store, the shopper presents a printed or digital copy of the competitor's ad to an associate, who verifies it and beats the price by 5%. Online, the shopper contacts Academy Customer Service with the advertised price and may send the ad by email or mail, and the policy also states the price may be presented by email or mail for Academy.com and app purchases.
