- Best Buy Canada matches a lower price from another retailer or authorized dealer that has the exact same brand name and model number, priced in Canadian dollars including all environmental fees, shipping and other charges, sold and shipped from within Canada and available at that price in the shopper's province. The product must be in stock and must not be a limited-time offer, pre-order or limited-quantity item, and the lower price must not come from an advertising error or a special sale price.
- What is excluded
- Excluded are Marketplace sellers on bestbuy.ca, Amazon.ca and eBay.ca, refurbished or liquidated sellers, and special sale prices such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Boxing Day, pre-orders, rebates, coupons, clearances, open box items, demos, financing offers and trade-in offers. The guarantee does not apply to pre-orders from other retailers, or to items sold and shipped by Marketplace sellers, including Best Buy Buisness, or by marketplace vendors on competitor sites.
- How to claim it
- For an item already bought in store, the shopper makes the request at a Best Buy store with the flyer, advertisement or web address of the lower-priced product and the original receipt. For an item bought online, the shopper requests a match online via the order details page and the Contact Us option, or by phone. For an item not yet bought, the shopper can visit any store to request a match, which is applied on the spot. Requests are accepted within 30 days of purchase, or within 60 days for My Best Buy account holders.
