- Castorama refunds the difference if a competitor has a lower price, within 15 days of purchase in a Castorama or Casto store, or on castorama.fr (excluding marketplace items). The product must be strictly identical to the one bought (same brand, same model, same colour, same reference), new, available, and at a lower price than the one paid. The compared price includes all taxes, excluding delivery, installation and/or setup costs, and must be found in mainland France. For purchases made in store or via Drive 2h, the product must be sold within 30km of the Castorama or Casto store shown on the receipt. Competitors are general retail stores and websites (Auchan, Carrefour, Casino, Intermarché, Leclerc, U…) or specialist ones (Mr Bricolage, Bricorama, Brico Marché, Bricocash, Bricoman, Leroy Merlin, Weldom, Boulanger, Darty…) offering the same type of products and services as Castorama or Casto stores, with the same distribution method.
- What is excluded
- Marketplace items. Competitor promotions, new arrivals, sales, clearance, liquidations and private sales. Products offered by websites without physical stores, auction sites and marketplaces. Stores and websites of the Kingfisher group (Castorama, Brico Dépôt, Screwfix) are not considered competitors.
- How to claim it
- Present your receipt, or your castorama.fr invoice, together with proof of the competitor store's or website's price, at the store reception desk within 15 days of purchase. The difference is refunded directly to your bank card.
