Price matching at The Warehouse
Checked against The Warehouse's published policy on 13 October 2026.
- The terms
- The Warehouse will match any competitor's advertised price. The product must be in stock at both The Warehouse and the competitor's store when the request is made, and the request must be made within 7 days of the competitor advertising the price. The item must be the same exact model or item, in its original packaging, a standard stocked item, from an NZ-based retailer. Price-lowered products cannot be combined with other TWL or competitor promotions or credit offers, trade terms, direct supplier purchases or limited quantity offers. Grocery products can only be price matched in store. Online, non-grocery matches require the same barcode, a price advertised within the last 7 days, the same freight costs, an NZ-based retailer with a valid NZ website, and delivery from within NZ only.
- What is excluded
- Products from third-party sellers, baby food and formula, gift cards, POSvA cards, vouchers, phone cards, stamps, daily deal websites, auction sites, overseas retailers, commercial quantities (more than 10 of any product), stock liquidations or liquidators, all clearance products, limited quantity offers, store opening deals at either store, direct-from-supplier purchases and most parallel imported products. Parallel imported fragrances and school lists or packs during Back to School are included.
- How to claim it
- Customers present proof of the competitor's current advertised price, such as a mailer, quote, press advert or dated screenshot, or an original receipt if seeking a refund. In store, the customer brings proof and asks a team member. Online, the customer contacts The Warehouse Customer Care Team. The claim must be lodged within 7 days of purchase or of the lower price being advertised.

When does The Warehouse have sales?
The Warehouse runs public promotions regularly, so timing a purchase around sale periods can pay. The trade-off: public sale prices are visible to everyone, apply only to what's on sale, and end when the sale ends.
How do I get a discount at The Warehouse?
Price matching is the surest route today: find the identical item advertised for less and ask The Warehouse to match it. Watch for their public promotions. And register the price you would pay on this page — if The Warehouse starts accepting offers, you'll be first to know, with your offer already queued.
