Price matching at AO

- The terms
- AO matches the current price of a competitor's product, but only against UK-based retailers selling UK products. The competitor's product must be exactly the same as the AO product and must be available to order and pay for on the same day. AO also states it will match discount codes and sales periods.
- What is excluded
- AO does not price match in-store only deals, prices available only via memberships (including loyalty and reward schemes), AO Business, other trade sites, AO Membership prices (including Switch24), or products with pricing errors.
- How to claim it
- Before purchase, the shopper calls AO on 0161 470 1100, gives the product code and says where the product was seen cheaper, and AO confirms the price. After purchase, the shopper submits a Price Match form under My Account within 7 days of receiving the order (standard guarantee); the refund of the difference appears in the bank account within 3-5 days. A separate extended period runs to 23rd December for orders placed before 12th December.

When does AO have sales?
AO runs public promotions regularly, so timing a purchase around sale periods can pay. The trade-off: public sale prices are visible to everyone, apply only to what's on sale, and end when the sale ends.
How do I get a discount at AO?
Price matching is the surest route today: find the identical item advertised for less and ask AO to match it. Watch for their public promotions. And register the price you would pay on this page — if AO starts accepting offers, you'll be first to know, with your offer already queued.
